1978 waitress, 1983 window dresser, after 5 years at a brokerage firm in 1987 started a business. Cleaned houses in the morning and made sweaters in the afternoons.

-1992 Owner/Operator of Olivvi, knitwear company. Designed and wrote patterns for hundreds of wearable knits. Participated in New York shows during market week. Solicited, negotiated and managed 60+ store/clients. Managed dozens of contract knitters in sampling and production.

-1999 Provided consulting to an established clothing company for the implementation of a knit line.

-Currently teach knit design at Virginia Commonwealth University in the Fashion Design Department.

-Recently started a Wardrobe Organizing business in Richmond Virginia

-Designs published in Interweave Knits Magazine and in the books Weekend Knitting and Handknit Holidays.
